DRESS POLICY
The dress policy on Friday nights at the Origin is quite relaxed: stylish and trendy. That means T-shirts and trainers are all fine, provided they are fashionable and funky, and you look cool.

MUSIC POLICY
The music on Friday nights at the Origin is all about sexy dance music. Four separate music zones provide various styles ranging from soul & funk and deep house to vocal electro and minimal tech.

NO RE-ADMISSION POLICY
The Origin operates a 'No pass-out' policy to minimise disturbance in the street and ensure optimal consideration of the local residents. Customers with a genuine reason to leave the venue will need to request a pass-out stamp from the door staff before leaving, in order to obtain free re-admittance to the premises.

ENTRANCE CHARGE
Friday night: Girls R40 and Guys R80
Sat nights: Entrance fees vary depending on event, ranging from R40 to R120. Please check the Event Calendar to check for specific dates/prices/info.

OPENING HOURS
9pm – 5am (no alcohol after 4am) on Fridays, Saturdays, and special event nights.
